7 Wisconsin Dells - Family Fun Run/Walk. 5th Mile Bluff - Delton Family Medical Center Healthy Family Fun Run/Walk. Free kids half-mile race begins at 9:30AM, followed by 5k race at 10AM. Participants who register prior to May 1 are guaranteed an event T-shirt and an early bird price of $10 per person. Registration will be accepted through the time of the 5k and will be $15 after May 1 and T-shirts will be provided as available. Recycling 1 Ton of paper saves:

• 17 mature trees
• 7,000 gallons of water
• 3 cubic yards of landfill space
• 2 barrels of oil; and
• 4,100 kw hours of electricity (enough to power a home for 5 months)
• In Wisconsin, we use enough office paper each year to build a 10-foot high wall, 145 miles long. We recycle 56 miles of that wall.

Energy Savings

• Recycling 1 ton of glass saves the equivalent of 10 gallons of oil.
• Recycling 1 ton of plastic saves the equivalent of 1-2,000 gallons of gasoline.
• Recycling 1 ton of newspaper saves the equivalent of 100 gallons of gasoline.
• Recycling one ton of aluminum saves the energy equivalent of 2,350 gallons of gasoline or the total amount of electricity used by a typical Wisconsin home over 10 years.
• " Recycling 1 ton of iron saves 1 ton of coal.

Easter Egg Hunt

Hop on by and join the First Annual Tanger Easter Egg Hunt to benefit Easter Seals of Wisconsin! Register at Shopper Services between 9:30-10:30AM, cost $5/child (ages 0-12). Price includes: the Hunt, admission to the Candy Grab, a commemorative Easter Seals paper egg and a chance to win an overnight stay in Wisconsin Dells! Hunt for candy and prizes with Mr. Bunny himself at 11:00AM. Don't forget to look around...."Golden Eggs" are everywhere & you never know what may be inside. A gift card? Attraction tickets? Hop to the Candy Grab at Noon for the little ones(0-6), and at 12:15PM for the pre-teens (7-12). April 16, 2011 Wisconsin Dells - Dells Riverfest in Wisconsin Dells Enjoy refreshments on the festival grounds or at the nearby River Walk Hotel and River Walk Pub. Enter a raffle for a high-quality kayak to be given away at Noon on the festival grounds. Involve the kids in a variety of children's activities on the festival grounds. Learn how to kayak at our the Riverfest Kayak Clinic. Whatever your interests, Dells Riverfest is the place to be for Wisconsin River fun on April 16! Welcome to Wisconsin.
If you are wondering about the weather, yes it is cold, and we are at a high of 3 degrees.

In the month of February we have no special events to add except for of course Valentines Day.
If you are coming to Odyssey Dells for Valentines Day, I do have a few great restaurant suggestions for the special occasion.
